Directing
Directing is my ultimate passion. I have directed multiple student shorts, and one full length play, while also having served as the AD and DP on other student productions.
I have studied the technical components that go into directing as well as trained my eye for mise en scéne. Additionally, background in acting has aided in my ability to converse with my actors.
My greatest training has come from simply being on sets. Through observing what works, fails, and the trials of improvisation, I feel I have an immense knowledge base which compliments all the work and studying I myself have done.
The best example I can give of this is with my student short, Double Shot, which I directed for Brown’s student run production company.
I have also included the link to an earlier short I made, Laugh Track.

Professional Work
While the goal is to eventually be a creator myself, I am currently looking for any opportunities that can further my experience in the industry.
I have already worked as a Production Assistant on multiple Oscar-nominated films. I worked in the office under the Production Management team, but I purposefully tried to help out as many departments as I could: costumes, set dec, cinematography, etc.
Doing this enabled me to learn how each department communicated with one another, and allowed me to learn what each individual team needs to thrive. I did whatever was asked of me, and learned invaluable lessons about the massive network it takes to successfully pull off a project. I will
I have gained professional on-set experience as a production assistant as well, thriving in the intensity and aiding the crew in whatever way they needed — from running around getting strangers to sign waivers to simply filling out coffee orders.
I am driven, energetic, collaborative, and always looking to find ways to assist the production. I believe my past experience (both professional and in my own work) gives me invaluable insight, but I will always be observing and learning so that I can be beneficial in whatever way the project calls for.
Some projects which I have already had the pleasure of working on:
Joker (2019), Todd Phillips
Production Assistant
The Irishman (2019), Martin Scorsese
Production Assistant
Gutsy, Episode 4, (2022), Cynthia Wade
Production Assistant
“Reverse Engineering”, Bon Appetit, (2023)
Production Assistant
My honors thesis. A collection of short fiction stories that all focus on a theme of morality and dilemma. I was inspired by the film, Relatos Salvajes (2014), to create the vignettes.
A review of Maestro (dir. Bradley Cooper, 2023) I wrote for, The Bulletin.
Writing
At Brown I majored in Literary Arts and graduated with Honors in Creative Writing. I have written fiction stories, short form screenplays, magazine articles, one-act plays, and analytical papers for school. Each form of writing teaches me differently about usage of craft and voice.
My writing abilities make me adaptable to multiple roles, as I believe I can adapt my skill with the written word to aid in research, coverage, and any creative need that might be thrown my way

A short screenplay I wrote while taking the Screenwriting 1 course at NYU Tisch. It is a lighthearted homage to a childhood activity, influenced by the style of Good Boys (2019).
A one act play I wrote inspired by Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story (1958) and John Gaure’s Six Degrees of Separation (1990)
An article I wrote for the Brown Political Review covering the dangers of deforestation and the wild animal trade. Deeply inspired by a segment of Last Week Tonight.
Logline: The doorman of a fancy Park Avenue building gets one last shot to keep his job – so long as he can get through the night without making another mistake…
Performance
For me, my love of film and theater all started with performing. I always loved telling stories, and from that I developed a love of acting them out, singing them, anything which puts me in front of an energetic audience to play off of.
I’ve been a lead in various productions:
Demetrius, Midsummer Nights Dream
Javert, Les Miserables
Sky Masterson, Guys and Dolls
Sir Thomas More, A Man For All Seasons
Stephen Bellamy, Farragut North
And acted in workshops, classes, and in practice with most of my directing work.
While at Brown, I sang in a Tenor-Bass a capella group, The Bear Necessities. I also served as the business manager of the group for a year, organizing our concerts, tour, and album! Singing with the group furthered my passion for the arts and performance, and I attempted to synergize these passions by introducing skits and comedy to the group’s regular routine!
